Noga - Independent System Operator Ltd places the highest priority on website accessibility to persons with disabilities. An accessible website enhances ease of use and convenience for persons with disabilities. The website was designed in compliance with Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Adjustments for Access to Service), 5773-2013, and the standard W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA standard.
Some of the measures taken to provide website accessibility are as follows:
- Accessibility menu – at the beginning of every page you will find an accessibility menu from which you can:
o Change font size.
o Change color contrast.
o Skip directly to page content, to the main menu and to search using the keyboard.
o Stop movement of texts and images, to reduce load and distractions.
- All website functions can be performed using the keyboard as follows: press the Tab key to go to the next link and press the Enter key to activate the link. Press Shift-Tab to go to the previous link.
- Adjustments for users with blindness - the website is adjusted to users using screen reader software.
- The website includes:
o Text alternatives for images
o Division into navigation areas and a main content area, and the ability to skip between them.
o Use of ARIA to improve screen reader interpretation ability.
